We start our journey with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Chame, crossing the Marsyangdi River on a suspension bridge. Along the way, you'll get a glimpse of the rural lifestyle and culture of Nepal. After a lunch break, we will drive through several local villages to reach Chame, where we will spend the night at a guest house.
The trail leads us through the picturesque river valley of Pisang, offering stunning views of Pisang peak and Annapurna II. We will spend the night at a guest house.
As we continue our trek, we walk through fields filled with grazing yaks and various crops. Keep an eye out for breathtaking views of Annapurna I, III, IV, Gangapurna, and Tarkekang. We will stay at a guest house in this large Tibetan settlement.
Today is a rest day to help your body adjust to the higher altitude. Take the opportunity to visit monasteries, seek advice from the Himalayan Rescue Association, and soak in the magnificent views of the Himalayas.
We will trek through alpine pastures and juniper forests before reaching Yak Kharka at an elevation of 4,250m. Spend the night at a guest house.
As we ascend higher, we will reach Thorong Phedi. Keep your eyes peeled for herds of blue mountain sheep along the way. Overnight at a guest house.
Today is one of the most challenging and rewarding days of the trek as we cross the famous Thorong La Pass at 5,416m. After reaching the top, we will descend to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists. Spend the night at a guest house.
We will gradually make our way through fields and popular groves before reaching Kaligandaki valley. Along the way, we will visit an ancient Buddhist monastery in Kagbeni. Our final destination for the day is Jomsom, where we will spend the night at a hotel.
