Terms of service

Last updated: October 30, 2026

These terms apply when you use raveltrips.com or plan and book travel with Ravel Trips, which is operated by Ravel Travel Inc. ("Ravel," "we," "us"). By using our website or services, you agree to them. Our Sparkboard app has its own terms.

1. What we do

Our planning specialists design trips and arrange bookings for you with travel suppliers, such as airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, car rental companies and travel insurers. We arrange these bookings as your agent. The travel services themselves are provided by the suppliers, under their own terms and conditions, which become part of your agreement with each supplier.

2. Quotes and approval

A quote is our proposal for your trip. Prices and availability can change until a booking is confirmed by the supplier, and we'll tell you if anything changes before you approve. Nothing is booked until you approve it. A booking is confirmed when the supplier confirms it and we send you that confirmation.

3. Prices and payment

Planning with us is free. We're paid when you book. Your quote shows the full price, what's included, and how and when to pay, including any deposits and final payment dates set by suppliers. Some suppliers take payment directly. If a service fee applies to your booking, it will be listed in your quote before you approve it.

4. Changes and cancellations

If you want to change or cancel a confirmed booking, contact your planner and we'll handle it with the suppliers. Changes and cancellations follow each supplier's rules, which may include fees or non-refundable amounts. We'll tell you what a change costs before we make it. Refunds depend on the supplier's terms and are paid once we receive them from the supplier.

If a supplier changes or cancels your booking, we'll help you find alternatives and pursue any refund or compensation the supplier owes you.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Accurate details. Give us correct information for every traveler. Names must match passports or ID exactly. Check every confirmation we send and tell us about any mistake right away.
  • Travel documents. You're responsible for valid passports, visas, permits and any health or vaccination requirements for every traveler, including transit countries. We're happy to point you to official sources, but entry rules are set by governments and can change.
  • Health and safety. Check official travel advice for your destination before you book and before you go.
  • Supplier rules. Follow suppliers' rules, such as check-in times, baggage limits and conduct policies.

6. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical care and evacuation. Your planner can help you find a policy. If you choose not to buy insurance, you accept the costs that insurance would have covered.

7. Our responsibility

We take care in planning your trip and arranging your bookings. Because suppliers provide the travel services, we're not responsible for their acts, omissions or failures, or for events outside our control, such as weather, natural disasters, strikes, illness, government action or travel restrictions. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about our services is limited to the amount you paid Ravel Trips directly for those services. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.

8. Using this website

The information on this site, including sample trips, is for inspiration and is not an offer. Destination photos are from Unsplash and belong to their photographers. Please don't misuse the site or the planning form, for example by sending spam or automated requests.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you approve a booking applies to that booking.
